While Carnival is known for being a more “fun” than luxe cruise experience, they rarely fail to deliver at dinner time. Among my favorite food at sea, they tend to not emphasize up-charge specialty dining options as much as other lines do. Instead, Carnival targets their effort on the main dining room — and it shows.

The recently-added “Emeril Selects” offerings are a highlight. This collab jazzes up the menu, and fits Carnival’s vibe brilliantly — unpretentious, but festive and delicious.
